Minneapolis, MN, July 19, 2010 —Koch Companies, a full-service transportation and shipping company based out of Minneapolis, announces that as of August 1, its Koch Trucking Company Drivers will receive an increase of 1 cent per mile to their base mileage rate.
Koch Companies is also providing an additional 1 cent per mile increase to all drivers with a current hazmat endorsement; a change in base pay for those drivers of 2 cents. Drivers not currently hazmat endorsed will receive the 1 cent hazmat differential upon receipt of endorsement.

The Internet has taken a firm hold as the logical option for drivers and carriers who are looking for the maximum return on their advertising investment. WARRENVILLE, Ill. – Navistar International Corporation (NYSE: NAV) announced today that William H. Osborne, president and chief executive officer of Federal Signal Corporation (NYSE: FSS) and a veteran automotive industry executive, has been named to its board of directors.
Osborne, 49, replaces Marc Belton on the Navistar board of directors. Belton, an executive vice president at General Mills, Inc., previously announced that he would leave the Navistar board in August. Osborne has been appointed to be a member of Navistar’s finance committee. read more

Alexandria, Virginia - The Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) is honoring professional truck driver Richard Koss as a Highway Angel for helping a family at the scene of an accident. On June 30, 2009, Koss was driving north from Wausaukee, Wis., to Iron Mountain, Mich., when he witnessed a vehicle veer to the shoulder of the highway, overcorrect, and then flip over, landing in the middle of the road. As he called 911, he brought his truck to a stop and went to check on the passengers. read more
